About The Author

Yolande Norris is a Canberra based art tragic, art school survivor and tireless purveyor of uninvited opinions.

She has worked with visual arts organisations both large (National Gallery of Australia) and small (Canberra Contemporary Art Space), was editor of BMA Magazine’s Exhibitionist and is an independent writer and curator.

Currently, Yolande is co-director of Critical Animals, a creative research symposium taking place in Newcastle as a part of This Is Not Art, is on the board of CAPO (Contemporary Arts Patrons Organisation) and co-producer of You Are Here, a cross-arts festival commissioned by the Centenary of Canberra.
