About The Author
Yolande Norris is a Canberra based writer, curator, producer and art school survivor.
She has worked with visual arts organisations both large (National Gallery of Australia) and small (Canberra Contemporary Art Space), was editor of and contributor to BMA Magazine’s Exhibitionist and co-director of Critical Animals, a creative research symposium taking place in Newcastle as a part of This Is Not Art.
Currently Yolande is co-producer of You Are Here, a cross-arts festival supported by the Centenary of Canberra, and is on the board of CAPO (Contemporary Arts Patrons Organisation). With Skye Jefferys, Yolande founded and manages The Side Project, a networking event for women in creative industries.
